Barbados, Missions

Jonathan Ryttersgaard grew up at Bath Road Baptist Church and we are grateful to God for calling him to the full-time preaching ministry, first in Toronto and then in Barbados.

Jon and his wife Melanie met at Trent University in Peterborough, Canada in 2006. They were married in 2011 and have two sons, Maddox (born in 2013) and Wade (born in 2016). Jon has a Master of Theological Studies from Tyndale Seminary in Toronto, and served as a pastor in Canada for five years before starting Covenant Reformed Baptist Church here in Barbados in 2017. Covenant Reformed Baptist Church of Barbados is a church plant of Covenant Baptist Church, Toronto.

One of the main missions ministries at Bath Road, the work in Malawi continues day-by-day and year-by-year as we support churches and individuals, along with the Bible College. This work could not be done without the prayers and financial gifts of God's people.
