Serving Others
The Bath Road Baptist Church family is a diverse group of believers growing in our love for God and for each other! We are a pretty ordinary group of people of all ages and many different backgrounds; not too big, not too small (around 175-200). In our worship, we seek to express our love to God through a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs.
Our motto or tagline is “We preach Christ!” We want to exalt Christ as Lord in all things, so that above all God might be glorified! Matthew 28 describes the work of the God’s church in making disciples of all the nations, baptizing them, and teaching them to observe all He has commanded. We put into practice this instruction through a number of local ministries and two main global ministries.
As a church, we also financially support and pray for several individuals and organizations.
Voice of Faith
Nadalla & Rachelle Alrajo
Mission Fields today don’t look the same as 60 years ago.
You can now bring the mission field to you. And that’s exactly what Nadalla and Rachelle Alrajo have done. Nadalla had a big decision to make in 2020. He had the funds to open a restaurant, or he could answer the tug on his heart to enter the mission field. He said YES to the Lord and started Voice of Faith in November.
Almost 3 million people have been reached through the internet. Voice of Faith is an online radio/website that Arabic speaking people, from around the world have found, and have been introduced to Jesus. Nadalla was raised as a Muslim, and he knows and understands that worldview and life better than almost anyone. But he and Rachelle also know the life transforming saving grace of Jesus Christ their Lord and Saviour, and it’s that message they want to bring to Arabic speaking people.
Seekers connect with Nadalla through Facebook, Instagram, and the online radio/website. He runs three discipleship courses a week, each with 45 students. Many are in conversation with him, alone, for months, while they try to understand the grace and mercy God offers them. Most of them come from the Islamic faith, and grace and mercy is very difficult to grasp. BUT, people from more than a million cities around the world have reached out.
In 2024, there were 348 new believers, with 343 completing the discipleship program. More than 100 thousand subscribers get the Bible Verse of the day, there’s 1.7M Instagram followers, and over 200 thousand Facebook followers.
Home churches have started up in countries where people can be killed for believing in Christ. There’s been baptisms, where family members didn’t know that they were getting baptized together until they showed up at the same place. And the believers in these hostile countries are having the faith and boldness to be witnessing to others in their communities. God Is working through Voice and Faith, and we at Bath Road Baptist Church support Nadalla and Rachelle not only financially, but prayerfully, asking God to watch over them as they continue to pour out their lives for the Lord. To God be the Glory!
