Kids ages 5-10

If you’re the parent of a child, or children ages 5-10, you know how important it is to have a variety of activities for them at every meeting.

Kids’ Club meets every Wednesday night from 7:00-8:15 p.m. in our very own cool Kids’ Club room! Your children are welcome!

A core group of adults plan and run the Kids’ Club program each week. In 2011-2012 we are going on an adventure through the Bible as we learn about the life of Christ! The goal of Kids’ Club is to provide complementary learning to that of Sunday School and Junior Church/Concurrent Sunday School, in a fun, energetic and invigorating environment.

Besides lessons, we sing (silly songs like “Ol’ Hiram’s Goat” and “The Other Day” and worship songs), play indoor and outdoor activities, eat yummy snacks and make constructive (mostly J) crafts.

We have a great program and we also have a cool, STRIPED Kids’ Club room that’s awesome! Our room Is located just outside the lower auditorium of the church. Feel free to take a look and to see how cool it is!

On Sundays, at 9:30 am there is a Sunday School for children ages 5-10 as well. The teacher teaches an interactive Bible story to the kids with lots of opportunity for the children to ask and answer questions. It runs concurrently with the Adults Sunday School and is great especially if you’re looking to join in with that.

During the service on Sundays we have a concurrent Sunday School which is entirely different material than the pre-service Sunday School.  The concurrent Sunday School allows the kids’ parents attend the church service to listen to the message. It also allows the kids to get spiritually fed in an environment made specifically for this age group.
