Junior Youth (11-13)

Thanks for visiting our Junior Youth page. Our Junior Youth group is a thriving group! On Wednesdays it runs from 7 pm – 8:15 pm and really ministers to the kids of that age group. There is a great combination of teaching and discussing as well as listening to music and hanging out. There are sure to be games on any given Wednesday and you can tell from the noise coming from the room that the kids are having a great time! Not to mention the newly-renovated-super-cool room they have going for them! They are the envy of the 5-10 year olds!

On Sundays, the Junior Youth group meets during the pre-service Sunday School for a little more advanced Bible study than the 5-10 age group. Again, this time is a little more reserved than the rambunctious Wednesday nights with great Bible studies and time in prayer and fellowship.

The Junior Youth group does not meet during the service, but rather stays in the service to listen to the message when the kids 10 and under go downstairs.

Our October Challenge:

For the month of October, the Jr. & Sr. Youth groups would like to ask our church to bring in food for the Food Bank. We will collect food items all month until Hallowe’en night, when it will be delivered to the Food Bank along with the food we collect during our regular Hallowe’en Harvest.

If you are shopping for this purpose, items that would be especially appreciated are:

canned stew or any canned meat (tuna, ham, chicken, salmon), peanut butter, pasta, baby formula.
