VBS – ATHENS
Paul’s Dangerous Journey to Share the Truth
We are looking for volunteers to help us get ready and to run our VBS. As you know this is a great ministry to our community and a great opportunity to serve alongside other members of the church. There are opportunities to be involved as a group leader, marketplace shop owner, column builder and a work day volunteer. Please connect with Sarita to find out more.
There will be a lunch and workshop for those involved in VBS on Sunday June 2 from 1-4 p.m. Please reply (to Sarita) by May 26th if you plan on attending.

Growing Older & Wiser – Wednesday Morning Bible Study
“We can’t change the fact that we are getting older. And indeed we may not want to. Age brings many gifts, even as it brings opportunities for continued growth. This study offers a biblical perspective on aging and show how powerfully God can use those who ave grown wiser with the years.”
This study will be held Wednesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. and will be led by Pastor Downs.
Please Pray…
Ross and Doreen’s son and Jane and Terry’s brother Mike has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Please pray for Mike and his family as they anticipate chemo and radiation treatments. Ask the Lord to strengthen and help the entire Wilkins family.
