Prayer Meetings

Each week there are groups of people from the church who meet for times of prayer.  See Prayer Meetings for more information on on the subject. We hope to see you there!

Continuing at Bath Road in the new year…..

• Shepherding A Child’s Heart - Raising our children to trust in the Lord  and to live for Him in the world in which we live is a daunting task. If you are currently engaged in this battle, or could be at some point, we invite you to join us in adult Sunday school on Sunday mornings this fall in the Senior Teens room. We’ll look together at this challenging subject guided by Ted Tripp and the Biblical principles  he presents in his best-seller book “Shepherding A Child’s Heart”.
• The Forgiveness of Jesus – We all carry it, guilt and shame. We’ve all done things we should not have done. We carry it; we think about it; it keeps us awake at night; we can’t shake it; it drags us down; it keeps us from fully enjoying life. Jesus came to take away our shame, to forgive us—allowing us to move from guilt and shame to freedom and forgiveness. Join with Larry Montgomery in the Fireside Room on Sunday mornings this fall as we examine the guilt-laden and burdened people Jesus encountered and set free, and discover (or re-discover) that he has the same plan for us today.

Also, continuing Wednesday, January 11 at 7:00 p.m. Family Night will include:

• Kids’ Club where children aged 5 to 10 will go on an adventure through the Bible…
• Jr. Youth Group, where the younger teens will learn who this man Jesus is…
• Sr. Youth Group, where the Sr. Youth will be involved in discussions on Biblical responses to real-life issues that today’s teens face.
