The Bible is the all-time best-selling book in the world. Christians believe that within its pages we find all the teaching we need to be prepared for and able to do everything that God would require of us. It is our source to not only understand the times we find ourselves but also in understanding ourselves. It teaches, rebukes, corrects and encourages. That being said, the teachings we find in the Bible are not always easy to swallow. There are difficult and challenging things in Scripture. Here is where the reader of the bible reaches a crossroads. Dismiss the teaching of Scripture or cry out to God to help them understand, believe and live the Bible.
